My name is Lucas Swinden (he/him) but you can call me Luc. I’m a Hamilton (Ontario, Canada) based cinematographer, camera assistant and video editor.
Working as a cinematographer allows me to flex my creativity behind the camera. Being a camera assistant appeals to my natural people pleaser and hyper-organized tendencies and working as a video editor keeps the creative juices flowing from the comfort of my home. Focusing on these 3 areas offers me a ton of variety and keeps life interesting.
I’m currently focusing my efforts on working in the commercial and social media space. some of my clients include; knix, Visa, cbc, Fairmont, meta rayban, rode and rainbow railraod.
As a trans man, I have taken to documenting my life on the internet in hopes of connecting with other trans folks and showing the cis-het world what ✨trans joy✨ can look like.
